The Saint Pio Foundation is a non-profit, charitable organization that promotes the knowledge of and devotion to Saint Pio of Pietrelcina, known also as Padre Pio, one of the most venerated contemporary saints of the Catholic Church.
The Saint Pio Foundation works with institutions and individuals that share the same vision to serve those in need of relief of suffering and that seek to alleviate the physical and emotional hunger of the underserved in a dignified and supportive manner. This includes providing spiritual, physical, and emotional nourishment.
To celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Foundation, as well the twenty-fifth anniversary of the beatification of Saint Pio, the Saint Pio Foundation launched a series of initiatives, free of charge, to foster devotion to Saint Pio worldwide, and to make Saint Pio more accessible to all faithful around the world. The main initiatives are the offering of 365 letters of Saint Pio, the release of ten original photographs of Saint Pio, the release of the song of Saint Pio, and the production of the first docudrama on the life of Saint Pio, in English and Spanish languages.
