The Saint Pio Foundation is a non-profit, charitable organization that promotes the knowledge of and devotion to Saint Pio of Pietrelcina, known also as Padre Pio, one of the most venerated contemporary saints of the Catholic Church.
The Saint Pio Foundation works with institutions and individuals that share the same vision to serve those in need of relief of suffering and that seek to alleviate the physical and emotional hunger of the underserved in a dignified and supportive manner. This includes providing spiritual, physical, and emotional nourishment.
To celebrate the two remarkable occasions - the 10th anniversary of the Foundation and the 25th anniversary of the beatification of Saint Pio - the Saint Pio Foundation launched a series of complimentary initiatives to foster devotion to Saint Pio worldwide, and to render Saint Pio freely accessible to all faithful, everywhere. Some of the major initiatives include the offering of 365 letters of Saint Pio, the publication of ten authentic photographs of Saint Pio, the release of the original song of Saint Pio, and the production of the first docudrama on the life of Saint Pio, in English and Spanish languages.
